Did the factory ever use bondo on these cars? What about the side body lines, were these wavy from the factory, or should they have been perfectly straight? I have a completely original 68 that I bought from a little ol lady who bought it new and kept ALL reciepts. There is only one for any bodywork.

It was probably damaged during shipping and was repaired before the sale.

Thats too bad to get a brand new car with bondo in it. Are you a straight six kinda guy?

I love my sixers! The Camaro was my first car. I drove it the last six months of high school and gained new respect! http://www.camaros.net/forum/wink.gif It's all original and will stay that way. Perhaps one day I'll put disk's on it... About 6 yrs ago I was rear-ended and had the body lines straightend and all the parking lot dings fixed, as well as the rear damage, then a fresh coat of Ermine White. Now I only drive it on sunny days, which isn't often. She's my baby!

68CMRO,
You should put one of the new 270HP I-6 in your car in a few years when the engines start showing up in wrecking yards.
Just think - a 270 HP DOHC 4 valve per cylinder I-6 in a Camaro!
