Mark, you need to get a copy of the AIM Assembly Instruction Manual since it has all the info. you ask for and would be quicker in most cases. The dual lines ran next to each other along the passenger side frame rail up to the fuel pump, easy to see there.

Under the car along the passenger side rocker panel just inside the subframe, or in the engine compartment alongside the subframe to a point right outboard of the passenger side motor mount. one 3/8" line, one 5/16" line.

A 3/8 fuel line and 1/4" vapor return line was used on Q-Jet equipped cars in 1969.

This would include L48's and 325hp 396's (SS), as well as LM1's (non-SS)

If there were any 68 dual fuel line cars, I'm not aware, and crg does not list this as a tell tale for 68, only 69.

I seem to recall your many threads on this are relating to a 68?
if so, the answers to nearly all your questions are on this page: http://www.camaros.org/diffs68.shtml

Jim, thanks for the link, actually it's to a '69 and I'm looking at 2 different cars. You've probably seen many threads of mine trying to determin if they are both SS cars. I was told that all SS, 350 cars had dual fuel lines... now I see that's not the case? You know, I could just go get one of them new Camaros and save myself the trouble

Mark, the SS in 69 could be 350 or 396 big block. If it was 350 V8 then it had dual lines. The 396 had single fuel line and could be an SS. If heater core and motor mounts and all other factors say it was a small block 350, then if it has dual fuel lines it 'might' be an SS. Many other factors have to be seen to confirm it.

In 69 the only SS that had a single fuel line is the L78. All other engine combos (there are 3 others) came with 2 fuel lines. Every other Camaro including 67's and 68's all had a single fuel line, L72 COPOs and Z28s included.

Just t clarify click's post a little bit, the 396-325 HP engine also used dual fuel lines and a q-jet.

The higher HP 396's were holley carbs and single fuel line

and there are pages on CRG for 69 and 67 as well as the 68 page I linked.

Yep, single line on my L78. And this week I just changed it over to a return line!:D
It was a tweak for my Retrotek system.
See the two lines in front of the head?

L34 396ci/350hp used quadrajet and thus used dual ful lines, too.

Anyone have a picture of the dual lines run along the frame rails? Did they use different kind of clips to attach to the frame rail?

The standard clips all ready have slots for 2 lines, one bigger than the other.

Ah mine must be after-market/different then, there is only slot.

Different clips are used for cars with single and two fuel lines.

Not all of them. What Jim said is true on mine for the clip that holds the line where it turns infront of the spring-eye. The ones on the sub frame are singles. I'd post a pic but my ISP is dead! But trust me, they're original.
