Does anyone know what kickdown cable bracket to use with an Edlebrock manifold for vortec heads. The bracket I had won't fit the vortec manifold because the bolt pattern (8 bolts vs. 12) is different. I looked in Summit but did not see a bracket designed for the vortec manifold.

either get one that mounts to the carb, or fab up some sort of a simple adapter.
or just leave the kickdown unhooked. it won't hurt anything.

I normally stear away from anything with Mr. Gasket written on it. However, they make a bracket that mounts onto your carb stud and it will allow you mount the kickdown cable and throttle cable. I did have to do some grinding on the bracket to make it fit correctly, though. Any auto part store will have it in their "hot rod" parts area. I think it was around $15 bucks.
