Has anyone done the shaved door handles on their first gen camaro?? I saw one in a magazine and it looked pretty cool. I would like to do that to mine one of these days. How difficult of a job is it? Is it pretty involved? The only thing that I worry about is the security of it.

I don't know that much about it, but I know a GTO conv't that had it done and turned out nice. I'm sure that they are as secure as a regular door. You need to install a remote door opener.

I did the doors and tail panel for a customer a few years ago. The body work is pretty straight forward after you remove the deck lid lock support and gas tank. His biggest problem was finding a real good quality remote system. If I remember correctly, he bought 3 different systems before he was satisfied.
