Want an idea of what price is resonable. She's a 67 RS so the tag tells me, runs, been sitting a long time. As far as I can tell all original engine, transmission and rear end. Little 327 with factory a/c. She'll need a lot of work, but don't they all. :)

Drivers rear quarter has a little bondo, paint is a definite 20 foot job, some light rust on the rear window into the trunk, but not bad. Other than that only some surface rust, floor is solid and so is the trunk pan. Original interior as far as I can tell.

THNX for your input

Welcome to Team Camaro!

To give you some idea, my dad just sold his 69 SS (Clone) in about the same shape as the one you have listed for $17K.

Good Luck!

6-9k the way it sits. What would your plans be? A full resto? One thing to consider is a "little rust" doesnt mean a litle rust. Once the window comes out you will see what Im talking about.

I can't do a frame off, just get it to a nice part time driver, keep it mostly original.

I agree with John's estimate and comment about rust. Here in Texas, we have a little bug called a fire ant. Fire ant mounds often appear to be no bigger than a cereal bowl but.........if you were to try to dig the little mound up, you'd find that the mound, underground, is huge.

I've attached 2 pics to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. In the first pic, the dash appears to be in fair shape. I thought there was minor rust across the front lip but.......the 2nd pic shows just how bad the rust really was.

It looks like you car you want is in fair shape. But don't be shocked when you start getting dirty. Good luck and have fun.

Looks like a nice original car in terms of the engine compartment and interior. But based on the pics it definitely looks like an amateur paintjob at best. The reason i say that is not to slam the car but to beware of what lies beneath. It always scares me to see paint jobs like that because its very likely amateur bodywork underneath. (ie...heavy bondo and painted over rust.) Just my 2 cents. But if the price is right it doesnt matter if you are willing to accept that and the work that might come with it.

Based on what i see i wouldnt want to pay over 8-10k for it.

Hey...post number 3000 :hurray:
