What do I need to do or look for or hookup?? Just got the car and its kinda annoying.

Car is a 4sp Muncie
355 Motor
373 12 bolt rear

Check the obvious first....Disconnect the speedo cable from the tranny and unbolt and remove the speedo bullet to make sure it has a speedo gear attached to it.....I installed a new speedo cable on my car, which is not working, but failed to check if it had a gear....I still don't know yet as I haven't gotten around to checking it, which I will eventually.

Thanks I will try that. As a side thought I have a 12bolt and a 4 sp Muncies but with 373 gears. How do you like the 355's? These 373 are fun but I am looking for lower rpm's and a broader shifting range!
