Ive got a 98 Camaro Z28 with a 4 speed auto and I was wondering if anyone has a link or info if its probable to make a swap to a 6 speed manual. I know its possible but I dont want to have to destroy my baby. Ive looked around and havent found much on it. How much would it cost? Is there a package deal somewhere? And about how much time would it take to do the swap cause Im doing it myself. Thanks

I did this a few years ago on a salvage 2000 Trans Am. The worst part for me as was the pedals. I bought the t56 and parts from Hawks Third Gen...worked out pretty well.

You will need to reflash the vehicles software to get the speedo, SES lights etc...to work with the modified harness and new transmission

It took me (a mediocre mechanic at best) 4 weekends with plenty of beer interruptions to complete.
