We have a 305 with a 5 speed tranny and want to install a true dual exhaust system. Any body here do it? Got any pictures?

True duals are tough in a thirdgen (if you need anyt kind of ground clearance)

You could check on the thirdgen board, but I think most use shorty headers into a Y feeding a 3" or 3 1/2" pipe thru the tunnel, then a single in dual out transverse muffler.

There is not a lot of room under there.

i am thinking about putting side exhaust pipes on my 89,
there the same clearance on each side ,its just one would be longer than the other ,not sure how much 83 is different thou .
