class67 Apr 20th, 08, 03:00 PM #1 choice would be American Auto Wire
#2 choice would be Painless
Both are good quality products but AAW may be a little more straight forward!

Painless isnt too difficult but the instructions dont provide too much info and you need to re-use some of your stock connectors. From what Ive read on here AAW is the way to go...
Dale8346 Apr 20th, 08, 05:37 PM Dan,
I bought mine from D&R 630-393-0009 and they are made by M&H 562-926-9552 .
None of the companies make the original harnesses. They make a replica of the GM REPLACEMENT Part. M&H took this Harness and Converted it to an exact Replica of the ORIGINAL 1967 Dash harnes for me. My car has factory air, R/S option, and Guage package. They are VERY helpful and very knowledgable. The other companies may be just as good, but they can not be any better. I am pretty picky. If you have the 67 with factory air, let me know and I will tell you how to get the original dash harness. Remember NO ONE sells it.
ProdigyCustoms Apr 20th, 08, 06:18 PM AAW is the only way to go. I have sold and installed AAW stuff for 19 years now in everything from concourse original restorations using reproduction harneses back in the day to our high end pro touring projects using Classic Updates. Always the best! We are installing 2 Classic Updates as we speak and sell them quite a few of them. Best thing since sliced bread for wiring a Camaro.
A complete restoration harness (reproduction original plug and play) will run around $800 or so depending on options. The Classic Update is made for your car, fits you fuse box location, and use new style blade fuses. It also has some additional circuits for after market accessories like A/C, electric fans, electric fuel pump, etc. The Classic Update requires you terminate some of your ends like headlamps, taillamps, etc, but the ends are provided. The Classic Update is a bargain at $499.
I have 67-68 and 69 Classic Updates on the shelf for immediate shipment. If reproduction is what you need, we will have to order it for your application and can save you some $$$$

EZ2NV67 Apr 21st, 08, 03:23 PM Hey guys thanks so much for taking the time to give me some advice on this issue. I am going to go with the AAW harness. I have heard nothing but good things and experiences with it so I am sold.
Frank, I want to sign up for one let me know what to do?

I second that! I have used both as well and have been very happy with each of them. M&H (http://www.wiringharness.com/) & AAW (http://www.wiringharness.com/) make top shelf products.
