So im in the process of tearing all the old stuff out of my car for when my new TKO comes and got to wondering about what clutch to purchase. I had a centerforce dual friction in different camaro and loved it. Anybody have any thoughts? And also is there any special one I need or just make sure its for GM 1 1/8" and 26 spline?

We are doing TKO 600 kits and are using Centerforce Dual friction clutches in outr kits. Ram also makes a nice clutch.

Whatever you do don't use the Mcleod dual friction disc! It engages very quickly and is very harsh!

There's a new Zoom clutch in the For Sale section.

ive got a 355 with ported dart iron eagle heads, KB full floating pistons w/9.7:1 compression, solid cam w/ .525 lift and 248 duration, pertronix ignition, and a holley 650 double pumper on top. the 4:10's out back make it pretty fun for a street car but i wouldnt mind taking it to the track just to see what it would do. thanks for all the help and suggestions everyone!

Still using my 6 year old CFII single p/p on a billet flywheel. I just change disc and t/0 bearing every time trans is out. Be sure to do the bell housing dial in dance here with the TKO .

clutch choice depends on the use of the car, for street, there are alot of worthy choices, my fave would be the centerforce dual friction, but if you want to drag race any real amount, you best do serious research and choose wisely.
