I've got a '69 Camaro with 350. Can you tell me which post to hook up a hot wire to in order to see if my starter is working? Or which post do I touch a screw driver to in order to do the same thing? I don't want to mess up and bridge hot to hot. (One of the three terminals has a copper rod leading to the starter.) Thanks.

Thanks. I located the one that's the "fartherest" from the block and I assume that you're telling me to jump it to the battery hot and not a main terminal on the starter somewhere? Thanks again New Zealand Sr. Tech from Mr. Nightshift.
