Can you tell me where to find a fuse link in the ignition/starter wiring of my 69 Camaro? Having starting problems and need to check if it's blown? Thanks!

There is none. If manual, clutch pedal safety switch may need replacement or adjusting.

If column shift or console shift automatic, neutral safety is on the top of the steering column. Back-drive rod from trans linkage, if console shifted, may need adjustment as well as the NS switch on column.

Purple/white wire from ign switch the NS safety/clutch switch, then purple to solenoid. If ign switch is in START, red wire from firewall connection from horn relay buss bar on radiator support, drvr side, from junction block pass side of rad support, supplies battery power.

Great coverage... I had been reading some other threads and thought my '69 probably had a fuse link too. Within the next few days I'll be tracing the ignition harness to the starter. I especially needed the wiring info you provided in the last paragraph. Thanks. I did see a shift cable coming from the horse shoe shifter a few months ago but I don't recall seeing the back-drive rod. Not sure what it is. Back in the winter I had the trans rebuilt. That'll be something if that rod being out of adjustment is the cause of my problem.

Great coverage... I had been reading some other threads and thought my '69 probably had a fuse link too. Within the next few days I'll be tracing the ignition harness to the starter. Only related item for the starter is a yellow wire going from the R terminal on the solenoid to the + terminal on the ignition coil. This wire supplies full battery voltage during cranking.I especially needed the wiring info you provided in the last paragraph. Thanks. You're welcome.I did see a shift cable coming from the horse shoe shifter a few months ago but I don't recall seeing the back-drive rod. Not sure what it is. My mistake, this back drive rod is to lock the steering column, not to move the neutral/back-up switch. This switch is on the shifter, passenger side.

There is a method of adjustment for the switch:
Place in Drive and use a 3/32" drill bit and insert into the contact slot and hole on switch body. Drive has been selected for the switch.
Install it onto the shifter.
Remove drill bit and test to see engine does not start in Drive, but does in Neutral & Park, and back-up lights come on in Reverse.
