Just finished installing a repo trunk pan into our 69 Camaro and I have a few extra holes that I didn't have before. Because the pans fit both the convertible and the coupe the manufacturer put in the 4 threaded holes for the shakers.
The two that I can't figure out are about 8' forward of the shaker mount holes. They are about 3/8" in diameter, one on each side. Any ideas? Need to know whether I should plug them or not.

If they are the holes I'm thinking of, plastic clips originally installed in them for the wiring. Can't remember if the clips come in from the top or bottom though. Maybe check the AIM to be sure.

hmm no wires on the passenger side Bob, just drivers side, so Im not sure what they would be over there. I dont recall seeing anything like that on mine either when I had my head buried in the trunk project. ?? Could they be ragtop related? pump lines etc?

Could be... I think that the AIM would tell us what they are for. You might have a good point- could be ragtop related, since the floors come with the shaker brackets pre-installed for the converts.
