Hello Everyone:

I have seen some 69 camaros with a rubber seal on the top of the radiator support that seals with the hood when closed, and I have seen others with out this rubber seal and no holes in the rad support to hold one in place. My question is, was there a cut off production date when this seal was no longer installed? Any info greatly appreciated.

Is this seal available? I would like one to cover an ugly dented core support.

Yes they are available and the clips that hold it down is available. The part number is C-79 from Classic Industries. I did not see the clips.

I think I found the seal that is in the picture. In the newest NPD catalog on page 123 at the lower right is a seal that looks like the one in picture. It says it's for 70-81 applications.

Check it out. What do you think?

Sorry I don't do links. I can't even cut and paste.

Classics minimum order is $20, and I'll bet all the others have a similar minumum too.
Big deal, flick through their catalog.. You may have a shopping list as long as your arm when you've found a couple more things to add.
Since when can you buy the correct fasteners and clips from the big parts suppliers?

Try these links..
They don't have an on-line catalog that you can browse.. You'll need to download the pdf of each section. It's a pain, but I then printed all odd pages, then reloaded the printer and printed all evens and now I have a catalog!
I've found it very handy.

or.. http://www.amkproducts.com/catalog.htm

Better off waiting till the 2008 catalog is released.

Sheeeze, I could use a plastic strap, maybe two. That's it.:confused: It fits in an envelope. Anybody placing an order? I'll pay you back plus the stamp and envelope:yes:
