I have noticed on a lot of ss/rs cars that are for sale, especially ones that are big blocks and are restored they have z-28 or chevelle ss wheels on them. Were they an option? I have a ss/rs 396 and I also have a photo of it when it was a week old. The picture show's it with the 2nd gen ralley's on it. I hate to tell people they are wrong if it is correct. Also what shade of black was the tail panel? Was it flat, semi gloss or gloss.

From what I have been told, the 5 spoke SS wheels were available for a short time early in the 69 model year for Camaros....they were the std. wheel on 69 SS Chevelles and optional on 69 SS Novas.
