so i have a 69 rs/ss and just had it painted 1 year ago with excellent tuxedo black paint job but yestarday i got on the car and when i came home i noticed a crack in the paint straight on that drip seem very minor not chipped just a hair line crack what can i do to fix this. i hear it is very common with the 69 please help thanks tony

i think you are talking about the qrt to trunk filler seam. if so thats why that seam is there to absorb shock very normal.

so how can i fix the paint without spending to much one guy said i have to repaint the whole roof thanks

It sounds like jason said with the seam sealer. If i were you i would contact the painter and see if he has hes own solution. They may have painted over the seam sealer before it was curred and now it has shrunk a little.

you might wanna mask off the area carefully and just take a touchup stick and go down the seam again
