I might want to put a 2nd gen 8.5 in my 69 Camaro. I posted this the other day but worded wrong and got reposted in classifieds. What changes need to be made to do this? ie: move perches, cut tubes. The 69 will have leafs in stock location. Multi leaf car.

Just the spring perches to the best of my knowledge. I have not done this myself but have had a couple of Camaros with this change. Just remember even the most narrow 2nd gen rears are about 1 to 1.5 inches wider than the 1st gen rears. It's not that noticable though.

It is 2 inches wider and the spring perches will need to be relocated... not much, but they will need to be moved.
