Thinking about one stripe. I put guide coat chalk on the hood to see what it would look like. Any one else have one stripe?

If you want an idea what it looks like in paint, you can look for Baldwin Motion 69s. A lot of them used a single stripe over the hood (L88 style scoop), but they continued the stripe on the roof (too much IMO) and onto the deck. Some of them then had the whole rear of the car done in stripe color.

I wouldn't do "over the hood" stripes. Everyone does that. I'd go with one color; you'll save on labor. I like the yellow that came out in 69 along with HUGGER ORANGE, yellow with a lot of chrome is a good look.

Thanks members. Yes, I would do the deck lid too, not the roof.

Didn't the 69 motion have a single strip down the center of the car along with the very tail end of the car the same color.
