Do you feel sorrry for the buyers who buy these?
I mean why pay more for this tag than it costs to order a new one yourself?
Imagine what that car would be worth if it was real, it would be a one of one, super desireable combination of options!

But, it's not a prohibited item, so why would you report it?

This isn't Oklahoma, it's Ebay and trim tags are not a prohibited item on Ebay.
Not that I condone selling fake trim tags, but when you falsley report items on Ebay, you are divirting what little policing they do do, from the truley prohibited and illegal items.
There are eight trim tags with VIN tags for sale right now on ebay. Hopefully they will get removed if ebay police are not too busy following false leads and catch them in time.

Actually the guys on the site that can spot them and they do a GREAT job of it will not post what to look for as doing so will give the people that make them ways to make them look real. I for one am glad I bought a Plain Jane X-11 V8 Car because when I did I knew nothing about the Fake Tags.

This one is an easy catch. In 1967 there were absolutely no A/C in a big block Camaro. None, nada, no way..
Someone is going to take a royal screwing because they failed to do their homework. Honestly I don't feel sorry for them.

I've not been on this site for long, but I see people asking for help verifing cars here everyday and am glad to know there are people here that are willing to keep the hobby straight (as much as possible). It's sad to think there are so many people trying to make a fast buck out there.

I emailed the seller through ebay about his fake tag and how someone is going to get screwed and his response was this..

The MO of these tag sellers is to list with the intention of never meeting reserve, then selling off ebay to avoid bad feedback and any repercussions from a bad deal...
