Hey Everyone,

I went to install the stabilizer bar and the bracket isn't even close to fitting anywhere. I checked the assembly manual and the bolt on which they show it installed just doesn't seem to fit that bracket. Then I noticed a notice that said "Discontinued on RPO M21. Does this go on the M21 or am I missing something?

Thanks for any help,

Bill

My '67's M-20 has a bolt-on front bellhousing stud-topped shock type bracket that it fasten's on once you get everything in position.

It's tight up in there!

BUT, wait a minute, don't they come w/ tranny tailhousing mount Hurst shifters instead of the crossmember mount Muncies like I have??

If so, no need for the torsion-bar.

Hmmm - haven't seen this one yet - does anyone have a picture of this or know who is reproducing it?

This is what I currently have - http://www.firewheelclassics.com/store/item.asp?Category=&SubCategoryID=&GroupID=&SKU=TRN1005

Thanks,

Bill

If you have a Muncie 4-speed shifter, you need that part.

If you have a Hurst, tranny bolt to the tail housing shifter, no..
