I'm in the process of instaling a Moser 12 bolt in my 69. While I'm under there I want to drop the gas tank and redo the underside with a rust preventitive paint. The local auto body supply store sells SEM Rust-Shield paint. http://www.semproducts.com/ I know most people swear by POR-15 but I've heard it is difficult to work with and must be mail ordered. Does anyone have any experience with the SEM product, ease of use, quality of product. Any help in this area is greatly appreciated.

I use the POR-15, and it works good.
I just brush it on the area with a brush that i will throw out, because after your done, the brush will be useless.POR-15 gets te job done, but DO WEAR GLOVES, as after the stuff dries, you will wear it.Eastwood makes a spay can type of stuff too, for hard to get spots, that too is good. hope this helps. http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif

Most of the Resto stores (small shops) sell POR-15.
It does work very well and is very easy to use.

It can be found in better automotive paint/body supply stores, too. I've brushed it on whatever I am treating. Works well.
