We're in the process of a 67 coupe build and we're picking the engine and trans for the customer. Im looking at the LS7 engine but I only see 4 speed automatics available. are there 5 or 6 speeds. Will a 6L80 work? If you guys know of any trans that will work, please help me out here. Thanks..

Yes a 6L80e out of a silverado pickup will work, harness will have to be configured for it but you'll have some harness work to do anyway.

The 6l80e's have tractor gears in them....I would rather have a 4l80E with paddle shifters.
