Does anyone know where I can find a rubber seal kit for the convertible top on my '97 Camaro? I've found kits for 1-3 generations, but nothing for 4th. What's up with that???
Thanks.

John -
Welcome to TC!
You can go to www.gmpartsdirect.com (run by Modern Chevrolet in NC someplace, I think) to get prices, because GM still has them. Unfortunately the GMPartsDirect catalog no longer includes the GM part numbers, which made it easy to get prices closer to home, but at least you can get an idea.
If you haven't used their catalog before, you click on the catalog toward the upper right, and then after some legal disclaimer, you enter year/make/model info. When the catalog comes up, the seals are under "convertible soft top/cover and components/seal."
The front seal (#16) lists at $335.90, wholesales at $206.11. Centers (#17) are $117/$149 list, $71/$91 wholesale for right/left, respectively. Rears (#18) are the same deal, with the left costing twice as much as the right. Looks like $1037 list, $636.34 wholesale for a full set. Ouch.

Eric,
Thanks for the very thorough reply. Very helpful. I had no idea they were anywhere near that expensive. Suddenly carry a towel around doesn't seem like such a bad idea.
