I am looking to reduce low speed effort, but real tight for space.Was looking at either 600 series iroc from gen3 (lee / dse or similar ) might struggle to mount pump though , or more drastic option is to update to better manual (if there is such a thing ) and replace my stock column with an eps unit from a small european car.Although only intended for small lightweight cars, it should give enough extra assistance at low speed? (adjustable speed module is available over here which reduces assistance to zero once moving to give better feel at speed)
