Hi from Southern Indiana. I'm new the 1st gen's. Nov 07 traded for a 68 SS. The guy was using it as a street racer. Received it as a rolling chasis. Original motor was decked then ruined. Currently removing the 6 point cage, tinted windows, fuel cell, future removal of 4 link setup. I don't have the build sheet but I called him and the car was original Blue SS 396 - 400 turbo, Blue interior, front disc brake and 12 bolt rear. I just received the Owners Manual & Owner Protection Plan book w/ the protect-o-plate attached.

Missing some things in the interior items and all the heater stuff.
Trying to put back similar to original but with manual shift
Putting in 1970 402 motor (rebuilt and good heads) w/ 4-speed saginaw.

I'll be looking for alot of info on here. Trying to decode this Protect-o-plate right now
