Last night my door creaked upon opening, rubbing against the fender. http://www.camaros.net/forum/eek.gif After further inspection, I see that one lower fender bolt is missing and the other one is broken. Looks like the head snapped off.
What's the easiest way to get the remainder of the bolt out?

you'll probably have to drill it out and then replace the parts... new clip nuts and bolts. Good luck.

My opinion is to drill it out. Start with small bits and work your way up to the size of the bolt. As you reach the point where you have most of the inner material of the bolt gone, you might be able to collaps it and this is good because you won't have to retap the hole. DON'T use those screw extractors because every time I tried, they always broke off in the bolt making it that much harder to drill out since these extractors are hardened steel.
Good Luck,
Mike

If it's the bolt closest to the rocker, it has a welded nut on the inside. So, either drill and tap or others have cut out the square of metal and welded in a new patch with a nut tacked on the inside. I was able to do the first method.

I was able to drill mine out, also.
