After recently installing a racepump, a mechanical pump in my camaro, I
have had 2 vapor locking instances, I was reading the archives about other people having simular problems, I was going to install a return line as
the answer,according to Howard at race pumps. My question is has this fixed the problem for any one else. My problem would occur when removing gas cap while filling up and would get a big pressure release, then suction line would be dry then the carb would run dry. It would only reprime after filling carb completely and car cooling down.

I run a racepumps pump and return regulator on my big block Camaro. I also run E85 fuel, which is more prone to vapor lock. I just installed the system this winter, and have been running for a couple months now. So far, I have had zero vapor lock issues. The system has performed perfectly. I have installed insulation on my fuel lines as a precaution.
