Does a firebird rear seat fit a camaro convertible? Did a camaro with a deluxe interior use a narrower rear seat than one with a standard interior? I bought a seat and apperently it is a firebird seat need to know what it fits. thnaks jerry

69 Verts (and coups w/ fold down rear seats), have narrower rear seats because of the armrests. Doesn't matter if it's standard or custom interior. In 67 the seats changed depending on standard/costum interior, but not 68 or 69.

67 Coupe Standard: Wide (no armrest)
67 Coupe Deluxe: Narrow (with armrests)

I was under the impression that Firebirds all had the armrests but I could be wrong.

To sum up.....IF the firebirds all had armrests it would be the narrow seat, which is what would be in a Camaro Convertible (all years). So yes, it should fit in that case.
