I recovered all my interior panels with 3M general spray adhesive. They stuck for a little while (panels not in car yet) but now have all let loose. Which glue should I be using to get them to stay permanently?

The 3M general purpose adhesive is just a temporary bond adhesive,they(3M) make a Super Trim Tach adhesive that will work.Just make sure that you glue both the panel and the material and let them tach up for about 5 minutes or so.If I remeber right the number on the can of 3M glue you want is 8080 or 8090 or 8088 any of those 3 will work out for you. If you can find the 8090 it will hold anything you glue for quit a long time,I have used it to do headliner's and they have lasted 10+ years. SS69Cam May 17th, 08, 09:28 PM Great info guys!
