Looking for red paint code and opinions. Thinking of changing from a yellow to red. I want a bright red. One that is red in the garage and outside. Some of them look orangish or not red in some places.(did that make sense?)Bolero and Matador red seem to look good. Is one more red than the other? It doesn't have to be a G.M. color either I guess. Any pics or info would help. As always, thanks for the help!

I used the red from an 1994 Honda Del Sol. Looked good and not orange.

Viper Red is really bright, but the red I like best is the one on my Ferrari - made by Glasurit, color is "Rosso Corsa, Fer 300/6"; reds don't come any richer and brighter than this one!

Go visit your local paint supply store and look at the chip books, both domestic and foreign. Youll find lots of reds.

That is a neat website. I looked at a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with paint code 81/bright red. Wow! That is red. This is my first choice so far. I realy like how red this is. Thanks for the help to everyone! By the way, it might make it to 30 degrees today in MN. today...
