Bronze tipped fuel pump pushrod okay for a flattappet camhaft?

I don't have the most experience in the world but is there any reason it wouldn't be? The bronze tip will be softer than the cam so it can be replaced more easily than the cam. 1/2 hour instead of a full day for the cam.

Yes, I would use the brass tipped as you will more likely be running higher pressure than stock fuel pumps . They are easier to replace than the cam . You can also run the roller tipped push rod if you have worries about these things wearing down, and they will.

The bronze tip is for a billet roller cam and if your using a cast flat tappet cam put the bronze end on the fuel pump and not on the camshaft,

that sounds like a "not so good idea"
