We had our club dyno day yesterday so I took my daily driver 2000 SS and put it on the dyno. It's got a couple of mods, stainless longtube headers, dual high flow cats, Random Tech cat-back, lid, ported Throttle body and a tune. I just got the tune in Monday so I didn't really get enough time for the computer to learn everything well enough but the car still pulled down 320hp at the rear wheels and 327 tq with an automatic! It kept making more power each pull so it might still have a little more left in it. But it's plenty of power for a daily driver so no more mods for now.

That should be enough to get that boat out of the water!

Damn LS1's keep making us look bad. I never hear anything bad about the LS engine. Easy to mod, great dd, a beast at the track and so forth. Nice!! Congrats!!

My 02 Z28 put down 343rwhp/357rwt after tuning on a DynoJet here in Phoenix. It has LT's and TD's dumped at the axle, a Volant CAI and 3.73 gears. It's best has been 13.09 @ 109mph on Nitto DR's at Firebird. Not bad for 90 deg with a 3500 foot DA.

When I went to Los Angeles to visit (I'm originally from Gardena) it felt a lot stronger. I'd love to drag race it at sea level with some dense air.

Next up is a 3400 stall. That should put it in the mid 12's.

My 331" SBC made 337 RWHP with LT's and a SC with an XP using a HTBC on a VJ with a SR and DH's.

Love my 02 SS. These cars are fast , handle great, and not bad on gas. Why didnt they sell better ? Oh well, I have enjoyed mine.
