click May 19th, 08, 08:01 AM wow all those chevelles, impalas and elkys and not a single camaro. whats wrong with that guy ;) cool pics
Joe Harrison May 19th, 08, 09:23 AM Let me guess none of it's for sale and he plans on restoring them one at a time. It's a shame if they are just sitting there rotting away. If he's selling parts etc that's one thing but most of them look like they sinking into the earth.....a shame as there looks to be some good parts and maybe even some good bones also.

edhjohnb May 19th, 08, 09:59 AM Hey, that Chevelle in the 1st picture is a highly-optioned car...very few were ever built with the optional 19" color TV in the engine bay!
Scott Taylor May 19th, 08, 10:46 AM I didn't see much in there that was restorable. Maybe some decent parts. Maybe.
Joe Harrison May 19th, 08, 11:16 AM I didn't see much in there that was restorable. Maybe some decent parts. Maybe.
I see lots of trim and other small stuff there, cowls and other small stuff. I can see parts on those cars that would help serverly rusted projects come about with GM sheet metal. No interor shots but I bet that there are lots of small parts and goodies to be had. I know I could spend days taking stuff from those cars.

That's not a tv!! That just old school monitors you see in the cars today. They've just got smaller over the years. Are any of thos for sale? Shame just to let them sit and rot when there are so many of us willing to restore them.
crustyz11 May 19th, 08, 02:05 PM Yes it's all for sale but he's trying to get it all organized for a big internet sale.
I offered to help him free of charge just so i could see all the cool stuff.:D

novaderrik May 20th, 08, 03:16 AM there's a guy about 40 miles from me that has about 300 (yes- three hundred) old GTO's sitting in his yard.. i think the newest one was about a 71 or so.
he lived down in what is now an outer ring suburb of Minneapolis until about 10 years ago, and moved all of his cars up here before the city grew around him and forced him out.
he started buying them up in the early 70's when they were just cheap used cars, and they are now his retirement plan. there are a few cars that look like the Chevelles in this thread, but mostly they are complete and restorable cars- and they all have titles... and they are for sale.. and he knows what they are worth.. and he won't sell parts off complete cars... and he has a really big dog that won't let you out of your car if he isn't home..

choptop May 20th, 08, 07:08 PM Wow, too bad most of those cars are so far gone. A couple look reasonably restorable and there are some nice looking trucks in the backgroud too.
