I am looking for a power steering pump and resevoir for a 69. I am wondering what if any difference there is between ones that were mounted low and ones that were mounted high. Mine would be mounted low because the brackets I have, bolt to the bottom of the block and the exhaust manifold or to the motor mount (2 different bracket sets). Also, I do not have the holes in the heads for those type brackets. Will a standard pump from 69 work? Any recommendations on years that will work, manufacturers, and where to purchase?
