Ok guys. I am selling my new 406 build with fast burn heads to fund a new project. I am considering a lsx build with a kenne bell, the big one. I have alot of experience with kenne bell but not in lsx cars. Yes the 406 would have been more than enough but i have caught the lsx bug again. The build wil be around a 6.0 .060 iron block which should be 376 cubes. I am looking for around 500-600 rear horses. The bug got me when i rode in my old cobra with kenne bell upgrade. That particular charger has logged over 106k miles and kenne belle is going to give the guy a free inspection and repair if needed just for looking at it. This has swayed me very hard in that direction because of dependability. I mean i will no where go near these miles but damn that is reliability. And that sound! Guys anybody who has never heard a screw charger go to youtube and hear one, there are a bunch. Just not alot with the lsx based engine out there. The build will be around stock internals minus pistons and rods. Everything will be balanced. Anybody rode in a lsx screw charged car? Can i get some info and a possible link? There is a yellow vette with kennebell on youtube but i dont know how to email those guys. Oh by the way the build will be around 3 possible cars. My 70 trans am, 70 camaro or 69 X11 camaro. I was considering my 69 X55 SS but i am going to flip that one. Trans ill be either 4l80 or t56 or richmond six speed. I know kind of vague but that is the roughed out part. Any comments or suggestions? How would the BADASS meter be on this thing?

I know exactly what you mean. My buddy has a 03 cobra with a KB charger on it.
All I can say is awesome

Not a KB, but I've had the pleasure to drive a bunch of LS powered Magnacharged cars. They are a blast. Like you, that's why I'm taking the plunge into a LS/Magnacharged drivetrain.

There have been several built with Magnachargers. Check Lateral-g.net , LS1Tech.com and Pro-Touring.com

Well, i have decided to do either the 70 camaro or 70 trans am. I personally think the LSX platform is getting to be the standard in the first gen world so i am going for different. Very interested in the 70 trans am. My plan is to keep the original drivetrain so i can go back to pontiac power with just a change of the subframe and a couple other things. I really dont know if anyone knows on here that i am doing a 70 trans am for a major LSX performance supplier. He is going to do the tuning for me.
