Well, I've done the search and there's nothing on 67 door hinge pin replacement. HA!
Mine must be different from the others because nothing I read said anything about 2 different bushings on the same hinge. On my lower hinge, the upper was a brass bushing, the lower was a thin nylon bushing. The pin itself had no wear marks but was bent.
Now, I'm having a hard time getting the brass bushing out. The hinge itself is not wore out at the holes needing a larger bushing or anything.
Question #1. Has anyone ordered the rebuild kit with both types of bushings?
#2. That arm that's suppose to have the spring against it, the pin that it pivots on is bent a little bit pitching the arm at an angle, (probably why the spring is gone) and the pin sits up a bit. Can I hammer that pin down to straighten? Or is it a fixed non moveable pin?
Can I get the springs too?
How about the special hinge to door and to body bolts. Are they available too?
