What is the factory color for the interior floor pan & rear partition? Mine appears to be the original pan and its sort of a lighter version of the car color. I'm doing a resto and I'm trying to maintain originality as best I can so amy help would be appreciated.
Thanks! Mark

Should be primer with a fair amount of exterior color overspray that came in through the window openings.

Makes sense since its a gold car and the floor looks sort of grey with a gold tint.
So if I was to POR15 it, the grey would be closest to the factory color? The exterior of the car will be painted without doors, glass or interior so I can arrange to have a fair amount of overspray if necessary! http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif

Judging from the bare metal under the hinges I would bet the doors and trunk lid were installed and adjusted before the cars were originally dipped then painted. looks like the front end sheetmetal was assembled after.
I would recommend installing and adj the doors before painting unless you are not worrried about how the jams will look
You might also consider installing the front and rear glass since the urethane sealers work better on primer than paint and will cause less problems if you accidently get some on the exterior

After prime and seal, mask off the pinchwelds for the windshield and backlite to keep color off them for good adhesion of the black urethane glass opening primer.
