I would like to buy a throttle rod for my 67 Camaro. Does anyone know which throttle rod is correct for a SB 327 with a Q-jet. I have seen 2 different rods in the catalogs. There is one with a slight bend and another with (4) bends? Any help and pictures would be appreciated. Thank Ken

The 4 bend is for a Holley equipped car, the other is for a Q-Jet. 6 cyl 1st gens got a cable...

All the first gen cars I saw in my youth and the SB rods I took off Camaros I was parting out were straight, no bends. Never saw one with a bend in it until I saw the pics in a catalog. :)

So it sounds like you never parted out a Z/28 or BB car then Kevin... Check the AIM at least in '69 it shows the 2 piece bent rod used on a Z/28 and a BB. The straighter one piece as the base one used.

Very true Dennis! If it was, I would not have been parting it out! :D
