I believe National Parts Depot has Full Floor pans for 70 to 74 models. How bad is it? A PIC would help and you might get alternative fix's.

6" x 6" does not sound too bad if the Seams of the floor panel to Rocker and Cowl are in good shape. There are a # of approaches without having to replace the entire driver floor pan. I don't know what you mean by "Toe Kick Area" other then you are referring to the seam that joins the floor panel to the cowl. You can cut out the rusted metal and fabricate a replacement panel which can be welded in or you can use Fiberglass Matting which works great if the car is used in northern climates were salt is used. If you choose Fiberglass matting you must strip the entire floor panel to bare metal and NOT cut out the weak area as it is used for shaping. Strippers and wire brushes work but Sand blasting is best then paint it with Epoxy Undercoat before applying Fiberglass or the glass will eventually let go. You can actually sandwich metal in the fiberglass mat in a large hole. Not that it is necessary for strength but rather for shaping. Of course the dash and everything and I mean everything in the interior has to be masked off if you sand blast inside the car. Any Fiberglass that drips through pin holes can be smoothed off and shaped from underneath and you can not tell if the floor was repaired when looking from under the car. Living in Northern Ontario, I've used this method to do both the Driver and Psgr front floor pan areas and it works great even on pans that are good to begin with. I actually form a basin by running the glass up the rocker edge and cowl a couple of inches with the Fiberglass Mat to trap water and road salts that drip off boots; but it is mandatory that the metal is bare and painted with Epoxy Undercoat prior to Glassing. Glassing 1/8 to 1/4" thick does not require torching, welding and not necessarily sandblasting which in itself saves a lot of work. After glassing Sand smooth and paint with Epoxy Undercoat then paint it with whatever you want.

I believe the front driver floor panels are the same for all 2nd Gens other then the 70Z has a dual ball gas pedal bracket and Psgr floor panels has provision for catalytic's after what year?. I believe only the 70 to 73 rear floor panels have a tunnel provision for Sub Frame Connectors and Dual Mufflers. I not 100% sure on this.
