I'm trying to replace the lock and cylinder of my glove box to replace it with a new one.How do i remove the old one with out the key and how do the front part separate from the rest of it ?

Do a search for glove box removal. There is a write up for removal with the key and without the key. I just did it. Once you have the tumbler removed the front and back half will unscrew. It shows a picture of the original tool but you should be able to figure something out to unscrew it. Here is the write up for it.

yup, I removed mine using a small pick that had a 90 degree angle. Never done it before, but keep engaging the pick end against the tumblers as you back out the lock and it will come apart. Charlie
