hello all. i was batting around an idea since i have to remove my driver's side kickpanel to replace the rear wiring harness. this is the '68 non-air firebird i'm talking about. i don't use the kickpanel vents and think they're pretty ugly and was wondering if they could be replaced with the cleaner-looking a/c kickpanels. will it physically install correctly? i intend on putting a gen IV vintange air in anyway, and can't find a single time i have ever want those vents. can't i just seal them up and forget about them? what do you guys and gals think?

You can remove the vented kick panel with any kind of panel you want. But, be sure to block off and seal the vent outlet as if it remained open, the incoming air would travel upward and come out from behind the dash still.

Its not an enclosed area.
