hey guys, i just rebuilt the motor to my 69 camaro its a small block 350 pushing about 400 horse i also sent the transmisison out to a shop to also get rebuilt its a powerglide 2 speed i got it back and put it in but it seems to be out of whack i put the car in park and its reverse i put the car in reverese and its neutral and somewhere in between is drive and it also wont go into low is it the transmission or is it something to do with linkage or anything?

Either the shop installed the wrong trans manual linkage, the arm the linkage connects onto, or the cable adjustment is way off.

Put the shifter into Park. Crawl underneath and release the cable from the trans manual shift arm and shift the arm into Park. Adjust the cable casing to match.

The shop may have keyed the manual shift rod inside the trans incorrectly also.
