Hey, I (as my user name implies) am a new camero owner. I bought a used 99 from one of my dad's friend who's a mechanic. Brand new everything. Including brakes. Everything was fine until a week or two ago when something started squeaking in the front, it happens everytime I drive and speeds up with acceleration. It has gotten loud and I'm worried. i don't hear it when I brake or turn though. It sounds like it's coming from the front wheels. Is there ANY ONE who can offer suggestions as to what it might be?

Cheap brake pads most likely.

I'd check to be sure the front brake wear sensors aren't touching the rotors. They will squeal all the time EXCEPT when on the brakes.

While you're in there take a look at the wheel bearings, clean em and repack em with grease, make sure the spindle doesn't look like it ever got hot.
