i know most of you are first gen guys , but i am working on a 79. the seats are black and a little faded,they are cloth. does anyone know what material was used to make these seats,and can they be dyed. the seats are in perfect condition just a little faded,thanks for your help.

Your better off re-inserting them,as dyeing them will only make the cloth stiff. SMS auto fabric carries the cloth for your seat's,but you will pay dearly for it..... www.smsautofabrics.com (http://www.smsautofabrics.com)
If you are restoring it that is the way to go,as they have the original date coded cloth and vinyl for alot of cars.
