This kit does not come with and installation instructions or help of any kind!:mad: Even says that the torque arm mount is included which isn't! I have a stock 700r4 torque arm mount that I cannot see any clear way of fitting to this kit. Again there were no instruction and no where did it say that any modification was necessary for install. Summit Racing had no tech support for this and gave me two numbers for Hurst B&M tech support who are clearly always busy since you can call 5 differnet times and sit on hold for 30 minutes each time!!!! :sad:

Does anyone know any information on how to connect the 700r4 stock torque arm mount to the hurst th350 conversion kit?(HUU 5500001)

You should only have to get a bushing for a 700R4. I had one of those B+M kits installed on my 82 Z-28 when I ran a 350 turbo. The lip of the torque arm determines which bushing you will need, if the lip faces toward the trans tunnel or away. The 82-84's are only ones that used one style all others use the other. There should be a clamp that the bushing fits into after you slide it onto the torque arm. These kits work very well and I had no problems with it, also you probably need a different driveshaft since the 350 is shorter. Hope this helps.

Instead I saw that hurst had a kit as well that included the tranny arm for the shifter cable that i needed as well as the vacuum hose for the attachment on the end of the tranny... and for only a few cents more!

I have no idea what the two small rectagular pieces of metal are for that are included in my kit.

Did your kit come with any instructions or did the mechanic/shop take care of getting the part for you? My kit cam with parts only! No guideline instructions reciept or anything.
