I dont have my books here now but I think the J is Jaynesville plant which would be large cars, Impalas, BelAirs etc. and the 3932388 block is common in the Chev. line across the board. other folks will fill in the gap here. :) If it is 350/255 its an LM1 engine and they quit making those around Jan. of 69..

The only HV code I see is for a 65 Vette 327, which obviously doesn't work with a 69 casting and partial VIN.

Janesville (J in partial VIN) built B-bodies (aka full size, Impala, Caprice, etc.). Could the suffix be HM?

HM 1969 350 a/t 250 2 full size/Chevy II

The "HV" suffix in '69 was a 350/255hp 4-barrel used only in full-size cars.
