Im sure opinions vary greatly on the front bumperette. You either love it or hate it. Im curious to know what most people think.

I think it detracts from the aggressiveness of the front end. Between the grille and cowl induction hood, that does it for me.

I do have deluxe rear bumper gaurds though. I do like those and how they look.

I have both front and rears. It seems to adds something and I like mine. See my 69 link for pics if you like.

But at the same time I dont like them on RS models. I feel the RS looks mean enough

I think they look great on a Z/28. I can take them or leave them on any other car. I tend to lean toward liking them, though.

Ya know, I see what you mean. :yes: I have the RS so to me it is adding uneeded clutter. But now I dont hate them so much. :hurray:

I have both front and rear bumper guards on my 69 and left them only because that's the way it came from the factory. I personally think that it looks cleaner without. If my car weren't so original, i'd take them off.

I love the look and have a set of rechromed GM fronts and rears to go on my SS. :)

I'm in agreement that it really detracts from the look of the front car. I think they look ok on the '67 and '68, although not my personal preference. On the '69 I feel they look a little out of place.

I have rears on my '69... I personally can't stand the fronts.

Those things belong on trucks and police cruisers. :thumbsup:

Mine's all original, and it came with them, so they're staying. :)
