Found an original crossram from a '69 DZ 302. The guy who has it bought the whole eng/trans from a wrecked Trans Am type race car in 1971. The engine is in his Jeep and so far he won't part with the engine but said he doesn't need the intake. He's looking for the carbs he thought 1 was broken from the wreck. Any idea of the value?? It's in great shape other than the dirt and dust.

What a waste of a 302...in a JEEP!?!?!

Anything from that engine is gold...just keep an eye out on ebay and stuff like that shows up on there so you can get some ideas of prices (or crazy asking prices lol).

Build/buy him a 383 for a swap ?

Tell him he needs torque for a jeep and 302's aren't that great :D

He's 70+ and there is nothing better than a 283,327,other than a 302 as far as he's concerned. He seems to think the cross ram valve covers are different than regular Z28 anybody know?

They have to be trimmed to clear the intake so they can be removed with out taking the intaks loose or off

A lot of guys bought the 68 style chrome valve covers for use with the crossram because the 69 finned style got in the way. I've seen original GM crossrams go for $9600-$13K on Ebay recently. Add any other crossram parts and the value goes up.

IMHO, I think anything under 12000.00 is a good deal . In this market I think they are at the bottom from a few years back. They should only go up from here. I hope:D.
