Help! The bottoms on my 69 Cam door panels are wavy. They bend inward where the mounting screws go to hold them on to the bottom of the doors.
Is there any way to fix this or are new panels in order? If new, who and where should I get them?
Thanks!

Are these original door panels. The repo panels are thin also and when you mount them they are wavy. What I did was get some thin galvanized sheet metal and cut 2" strips the length of the bottom of the door panel. Then glued the sheetmetal to the bottom of the inside of the door panel. I used the yellow contact cement to glue the sheetmetal. Then drilled holes thru the sheetmetal and remounted the door panels. No more wavy door panels. Do a search on here for door panels and there is some pictures of when David Calligan did his door panels. He made metal templets for the sides and bottom but you can get by with just the bottoms done.

If yours are original, and in good shape, except for the bottoms, I'd keep them. You can spot repops a mile away, if you know what to look for.
Even if the bottom of the cardboard needs a little repair, you can make them look better than repops.

And another cool thing about originals is that they are dated. Mine were made 3 weeks before assembly.
