I thought the show was on father's day weekend... now I just saw that it is the following weekend. If this is true I'll be there. Heck, I live right around the corner! Unfortunately the camaro is still in the garage...someday!!

It was good like it always is. There semed to more open spots than usual. Either the heat or gas prices caused that. I will post some pictures as soon as I can. Erik came by to say hello.

Hey all, here's a link to the pics I took. Taking pics during the day wasn't much fun as there were too many people around the cars and to be honest, I didn't much feel like staring through a viewfinder all day. I did take some near sundown during cruise time to give some perspective (though the cars cruising were on the lower end of the spectrum). There are a few in here also down the length of the streets, of Gary's Camaro (sweet!), and other show related stuff like the Budweiser horses. Had to include one of my Dad and I as well (thanks for taking the pic Gary :hurray:).

Overall, I defer to Gary to compare this year to others, since this was my first year to go. I thought the quality and variety of cars was really good. Hardly any cars newer than '72 and for the most part, everything was done pretty tastefully. Plus, of the Camaros, I only saw one with a "Caution - Fan" sticker :(. All in all my dad and I had a great time and thought it was worth flying out there from Dallas.

thanks for posting the pics. I was gonna go but never got around to finding a trailer for my car. didn't feel like driving it 3 hours. Plus, I'm a little burnt on shows, it's SO HOT sitting out there all day. I'll be at Pismo next year with both my camaros. thanks again for the pics.

Hey okie, let's hook up next year. I do a BBQ on Saturday night right after the show. I am staying right in town. It was very hot this year, but not a typical year at all. How about some pictures of those 2 cars.

Gary, go to web.mac.com/marks396ss and let me know if anything comes up. click "Photos 1" for the '69 SS and "Photos 2 for the '68 coup. I don't even know what will come up at this point. I'm gonna learn how to share photos soon. The '68 is being restored and still trying to decide on a color. thanks!

Gary: I'll be smiling more when my '68 is complete... of course, that's if I have any money left when it's done. If not, my only trip to Pismo will be to use a metal detector in search of lost coins in the sand.

I need to get some pictures posted. I am really bad at that. This is always a good show, but I did notice many open spots. They were planning on 1000 cars. Not sure how many showed up. It is not just the show, but the whole experience, the cruises etc., that make it fun.
